Can I use the 70% instead of the 99%+ DMSO solution, specifically on the skin patch, but also when added DMSO is suggested. This lab was recommended to me for making the purest DMSO. but they only make it in the 70% form.

In all the posts, the DMSO in gel form is never mentioned. Would that not be an acceptable option for topical application?

Also, can I use MSM instead of DMSO in the protocols.? it does not produce a smell, and that is the main problem I have now when using DMSO in addition to MMS.

The purity number is 99+% and the dilution (with distilled water) is the 70% number. It's easy to confuse the two.

DMSO in gel form should be fine, topically.

MSM is not mentioned for use in MMS protocols.

I understand the difference between purity and dilution. My question is only related to the dilution factor and it is this: Jim Humble recommends purchasing full strength DMSO, which would be 100%. Jacob Lab sells only 70% and. 50% solutions. The skin patch protocol requires 10 drops of full strength DMSO. If I purchase the 70% solution, I would have to add an additional 3 drops of the 70% Dmso solution for a total of 13. Is that correct.

Perhaps that is correct. But, I have read that diluted DMSO will carry much less of whatever through your skin. So, adding 30% more of 70/30 DMSO may not be as effective as undiluted DMSO.

I also understand that most DMSO sold is diluted to 70/30 DMSO/water and the container label may not state that fact. To be sure you're getting 100% undiluted and 99+% pure DMSO, the label should inform you of those two numbers like this bottle of DMSO:
