Hey Jeff,
I was diagnosed with Spondylosis 6 months ago. I've recovered slowly over the last half a year. Here is what I've learned.
First of all your situation sounds way worse than mine so you need to go slowly and do what you can. If its painful don't do it...
EDIT: BIGGEST one is WATER, your disc are all made of water if your dehydrated you will never recover. Your disc absorb the most water when you wake up. What I do is I wake up right away get a 2L jug of water, put a small spoon of tumeric and cinnamon into the water and drink that. Drink tons of water over the day and make sure you got a good filter so you have clean water like berkley filter or Alexapure Pro.
Firstly I would get on:

Eat Natto or some other form of Vitamin K
You need Vitamin D, K and Calcium to strength your bones they all work together. A small piece of chicken each day or other forms for phosphorus also.
Next Posture is a big one you need to strength your neck, upper back, romboids, core and glutes. Imagine your body is a table and you neck sits on top of this. If the table is off balance so is the neck. Forward head posture is the main reason for cervical degeneration. ( I don't know if this applies to you, you need to look at your own posture)
This is a really big subject I suggest look at a lot of youtube videos:

One of the best exercises is just laying on your belly lifting your head 1cm of the ground while doing a double chin also squeeze your shoulder blades at the same time.
Lastly is neck traction. I bought a cervical traction device, put a bolt into the wall above my bed at about nose height when lying down. I then put a pulley on that bolt and you can connect the head brace to a line with some weight on it. Again do what you can handle don't go crazy start with low weight and slowly work up.
You want to create space between your neck vertabre so your discs can slowly slide back between. Most of the pain is caused by herination of the disc pushing into your nerves.

Cervical pillow is another thing... but beware I had a lot more pain when using a cervical pillow trying to restore the nature curve to my neck. Because your neck has been curving the wrong way for so long you need to correct very slowly. You can roll up a towel and put it under your neck when you lie down. Slowly over months roll it larger and larger...
Recently I've been taking MMS I feel like its helped as I am almost pain free, I think it relieves the inflamation taking pressure off nerves...
Edit: Also I drink pineapple, mint, ginger in a blender a lot seems to help...
There is no miracle cure for this, you need to realign your skeletal structure by strengthing your muscles and eating well. The healing process is really is really slow so be patient some days are worse some days are better...
