So I just want to make sure I got this. From what I understand from the protocols and the chart, it would go like this:

For the spray bottle one has to make a solution of
2 ml (40 drops) of CDS
30 ml (1 oz) of water
If I make a larger quantity, how long will the solution be good, and does it need to be refrigerated (I hope not).

For the skin patch
2 ml (40 drops) CDS
10 drops water
10 drops DMSO
II’d make that fresh each time.

Thanks for affirming this.

When using CDS for skin spray or patch, you don't need any water. I keep a large quantity of CDS in my spray bottle, not just 2 ml. You can also fill another spray bottle with DMSO.

Two ml of CDS is equivalent to 10 drops of MMS1 and therefore you can use 10 drops of DMSO. If using two spray bottles, estimate how much DMSO to spray compared to CDS sprayed; about 1:4. This isn't rocket science, so experiment and see what works best.

My charts are based on Jim's original standard of 24 drops = 1 ml of solution.

Your spray bottle of CDS should last a long time if it spends most of it's life inside a fridge. The color of the CDS will be an indicator. If the color reduces in intensity over time, then it has lost some CLO2.

For comparison of skin protocols, see Andreas' version, what he calls Protocol D.

That’s interesting that there is no water needed with CDS when used on the skin.
I never use a spray bottle. I suppose that is suggested for larger areas.
How long can I keep the CDS out of the refirigerator? I often travel for three or more hours, sometimes on consecutive days, so CDS might be in my purse for a few hours on a Saturday and a few hours on Sunday. Does iit spoil if it gets to room temperature? And if that has happened, should I then put it back into the fridge. I suppose the thing to do is to take a relatively small amount along and toss whatever is left. Still, should it go in and out of the fridge?
I went online for the ml > drops conversion. There is quite a difference between that and Jim Humble’s standard. But you suggest using his, right?

Jim now uses a more standard 20 drops per milliliter. That makes the drop size 20% larger than when using his original 24 drops/ml. I don't plan to change my past testing or charts which used Jim's 24d/ml standard.

CDS will more easily outgas above 10C (50F) so if possible only open it when it is cold. I keep a 30 ml (1 fl oz) bottle of CDS in my bathroom for teeth brushing and when I open it to take out a few droppers full, I put my thumb over the top of the bottle until I get the cap back on. The cap does not have the dropper, that is separate as CLO2 gas will destroy the rubber bulb on the end of the glass eye dropper. The cap is off the bottle about 10 seconds total. Also, be sure sunlight does not illuminate a bottle of CDS as it will outgas immediately and quite vigorously. The gas will burn if it meets a flame. :)

Regarding using CDS undiluted, not only have I used 3000 ppm CDS, I have made 10,000 ppm CDS and applied that undiluted directly to my skin with no problem. Try it and see if it bothers your skin.

Keeping the CDS from “outgassing” sounds a bit like rocket science to me, and I get easily imprisoned by my desire to know everything in depth, and be exact about things, which is hard to do in this vast fluid world of MMS and DMSO, with so much input from so many. But I very much appreciate your detailed descriptions as they allow for my detailed questions.

So what do I do when I visit my daughter upstate, which I do almost weekly. I am often in transit for 4 or 5 hours, without access to refrigeration, both coming and going. Any CDS which I take along would not remain cold. Same as when I am on an all day hike, etc. And is iit ok then to put the no longer cold solution back in a refrigerator when I get to her house, take it out again for my 4 hour return trip, put it back in the fridge when I get home? Lots of environmental changes for the solution during a single day, as you can see.

In terms of light exposure, I suppose it is best to keep it in a dark brown glass bottle. I am glad you told me about the CDS destroying the rubber part of a dropper. Is it ok to keep the CDS in the kind of bottles that have a hard plastic dropper dispenser inserted in the top?

Thank you again for allowing me to go into these minute details and for answering them.

It would be best to only open a bottle of CDS when it is below 50F. When travelling the bottle will warm up, but when you get to your destination, put it in a fridge to cool down again. When cool, then you can open it. You can open the bottle at any time, but if CDS is above 50F it will outgas more than it would if it was below 50F.

As I said, my 1 fl oz amber bottle kept in my bathroom is way above 50F, but I only take the cap off for a few seconds and the CDS in that bottle will be effective for teeth brushing for a month or more. I use more CDS the longer it has been in the bottle to make up for any loss of CLO2.

No, I would not cap a bottle of CDS with any kind of dropper that has any sort of rubber except silicone, and I have not seen a dropper made from that material. I use a separate cap and then use a dropper cap to take out the CDS.

Now, with all this info, you can teach others all about MMS and CDS!
