Hi All,

I'm hoping to get some help. I have a history of ulcerative colitis. I've had chronic diarrhea for almost 4 months now. I actually think the diarrhea is a different problem than the ulcerative colitis (since I'm not having bleeding).

Recently a family member told me about MMS. I'm building very slowly up to 3 drops (for Protocol 1000). I'm currently taking 2 drops every hour and it's taken me almost 2 weeks to get here. I feel fine otherwise, so I don't think I'm moving too fast.

But, I'm still having chronic diarrhea. I have no way of telling if MMS is giving me diarrhea because I already had it before taking MMS. I'm not seeing any improvement whatsoever with the diarrhea. I'm having a hard time finding testimonials for MMS curing chronic diarrhea because any time I look up "MMS" and "diarrhea" in the same search, it's about diarrhea as a sign to slow down on MMS.

I'm currently on steroids (Prednisone) for inflammation My GI doctor wants to get me on immunosuppressant drugs like Remicade to treat UC. But I think this chronic diarrhea is something else! And the steroids aren't helping at all either!

I'm mostly worried that MMS won't work for me and I'm looking for some insight that suggests it will. I hear all these magnificent stories about people curing their problems in days. I am a healthy, active young woman. I eat almost paleo. I'm not coming from a place of detrimental health. But if MMS doesn't work, I'm running out of solutions. And right now I'm not getting better.

How long can it take to get rid of this chronic diarrhea?

Thanks!
Natalie

Hi Natalie. There could be many reasons for chronic diarrhea. I think you can discount MMS as one of them since you had the problem before using MMS. Candida may be the cause. Have you tried a good probiotic such as VSL#3 ? A friend used to have chronic diarrhea and since changing her diet, no gluten, etc, and taking VSL#3, she is now "normal". She takes as many as three capsules every day.

If you try that probiotic, be sure you buy it where it is kept cold or if buying online, it must be shipped with a cold pack and inside an insulated box. VSL#3 is expensive, but can work very well. I have no affiliation with VSL#3, I just recommend it.

Hi CLO2,

I've taken high quality probiotics in the past, and I'll look into VSL#3. Thanks!

I'm hoping that no matter what is causing it, MMS will get it out of my system. It's seems like a tall order and I want to believe in it and see results like so many others have!

Are you eating nuts, dairy, or coconut oil? I've noticed while eating a paleo style diet those can cause some problems. Nuts and dairy being hard to digest. Coconut oil cleans out the body often with diarrhea.

I have another idea having to do with the mind-body connection, aging, and life changes. If you're interested I can expand on it.

I'm not eating nuts or dairy and I only have coconut oil occasionally.

I definitely have a mind/body connection interpretation of my own and I'm glad to hear that someone else isn't discounting it as a very real factor!

sweetnlow: I'd also like to hear your take on it.

This issue with the gut came to my attention a few years ago. I was having that same problem. It went on for about 6-8 months. While learning how to journal for self-knowledge purposes I stumbled on Daniel Mackler, psychologist, on YouTube. He said around the age of 30 he went through a period of change in his life, processing trauma from the past, and experienced the gut problems along the way. That opened up the idea to me to look further. Maybe there was a psychological component.

The philosopher Stefan Molyneux said from our youth we have a certain amount of momentum that catapults us into adulthood but we can hit a wall, like depression, and need to change something in our life. If we investigate we can make important discoveries about ourself that will get us to the next stage and possibly reorient our health too.

Another clue came while listening to Eliot Hulse on YouTube. He was talking about something called "Bioenergetics." The popular idea, like with science, is to look at all these parts of the body in isolation. The mind, muscles, nerves, and gut. He said they could all be strongly connected so what effects one piece actually effects everything. An example might be if someone has a strange posture we could try to find a connection to their attitude about themselves, a physical, or mental trauma.

It's not meant to be any conclusion or a definitive way to fix it. But I thought it was interesting and helpful to learn.

What do you think about it?

Take care,
-Tony

Hi Tony,

Interesting information!

I don't feel as though I need studies from doctors or psychiatrists to tell me that how people are doing mentally can affect their bodies. It's very intuitive. It's as simple to me as the difference in how I feel when I'm invigorated, extroverted and having fun (light) vs. how I feel when I'm anxious, sad, tense and worried about my health (dark).

The mind is also extremely powerful and (in my opinion) can influence function more than structure. It's actually proven that 70%+ illnesses are psychosomatic. So clearing up anything that's holding a person back mentally should result in huge improvements in terms of health too. This is cool because it makes the PERSON do better - and in doing better in general, he or she can heal. Instead of diving into structure and attempting to heal symptoms and problems individually.

I'd say making mental/spiritual improvement is a bigger approach that has a wider range of benefits.

That logic is also why I like MMS. MMS doesn't claim to heal anything, but it DOES get rid of anything bad in the body that can be manifesting in a variety of problems.

sweetnlow: It does now seem intuitive after I learned it. While growing up I was coached away from understanding of emotion or any kind of body connection. The popular explanation around was(and is still) "it's genetic" or "you got germs" for why people were sick. It's like the idea of original sin where you're just that way and nothing can be done. It's lazy thinking(or non-thinking.)

I've been using MMS since February 21, 2017.

My suggestion to you, sweetnlow, is to NOT drink MMS, but to spread a solution of activated MMS plus DMSO and water onto the skin of your arms and legs in order to let the ClO2 enter the bloodstream that way and not through your stomach. This method will let you know what effect MMS has on your ongoing problem.

For starters, you should use the smallest amount of MMS, the fewest drops, that produce changes in your body and mind that you can detect. For instance, runny nose, coughing phlegm, more energy, clearer thinking, stamina. Taking too many drops will tire you out.

The effect of spreading 3 drops of MMS on my skin lasts for hours. You only need two spreadings per day. I vary the number of drops, for instance, 3 MMS, 4 acid, 6 DMSO, 6 water. Experiment.

MMS produces the ClO2 which is a natural cleanser. It is a small molecule and should even clean the brain.

I think we take too much of it on a daily basis. I suggest taking a quite bigger dose every once in a while, The bigger dose will be unexpected and harm the invader. Then going back to your minimal or optimal dose. Then giving it another hit. This lets your body live a nearly normal life, while waging war.

I also drink 3 drops of unactivated MMS three times a day before meals, for a total of 9 drops per day, without DMSO which I get from the skin solution.

Sometimes it is good not to take a dose. You may already have enough in your system. Listen to your body. Do not be rigid.
