Thanks CLO2!
Well, if ascorbic acid is not the whole part of the vitamin(only the outside of the whole) as the article said, then wouldn't that be why it is supposed to work so well? I just took 1 ounce three times 1/2 hour apart on an empty stomach. had a bit of tummy rumble after the first, but the rest feels pretty good. I was checking to see how much to give my cousin...I think we'll probably start with 1/2 ounce...once or twice at night. I am also getting some frankincense and myrrh today. Any more thoughts, anyone?

CLo2,

Please give us a link or enlighten us on L.E.T. forms of Vitamin C if you can. It sounds interesting.

I think the Ascorbic Acid works well because it's an acid. and it's more pure. If it were a natural substance then it would have the slight downside that the body can develop a tolerance for it. Most natural vitamins have that issue. You can take something natural for a few weeks and it starts to slow down or at least the benefits seem to wear off. That effect is most likely the bacteria developting a defense mechanism after a few weeks. Come to think of it that's about how long the body takes to get over a cold, so I guess it works both ways.

That is one thing about the MMS. The bugs and bacteria do not seem to be able to mount any defence against it.
Unless they are layered in several layers of mucous first.

I am thinking now more along the lines of the biofilms and how these interact with everything we injest. Most diseases need a biofilm to anchor into. otherwise they get washed away.

The Ascorbic acid may have an affinity for the mucous or somehow work thru the biofilm better than something like say Rose Hips. Rose hips may have it's own protective layer that protected it from predators while it was still in the plant world and that protection is just one more layer that our body has to deal with in order to get the chemical reaction needed to actually kill off any pathogen. I'm sure that is an oversimplification, but it may be a factor.
