I made my stuff tonight and have it sitting in my closet in the dark until morning...however I just noticed that after the 12 hours I have to put it in the fridge for 2 hours before I can open it to take out the shot glass....I made it with just enough time so the 12 hours would be up by the time I leave for work in the morning. Can I put it in the fridge ahead of the 12 hours so at hour 2 it's already cooled down or will it be ok to sit another 10 or so in the fridge until I get home from work? Guess I should have reread it all better before I started it. It looked like the longer it sits in there the more potent it gets so I am not sure I can leave it sitting in there all day?

You can open it up and take out the reactor if there is not time to allow it to cool down. Cooling down will help prevent CLO2 outgassing, but if you are quick taking out the reactor, you won't have a problem. Be careful not to let any reactor solution spill into the CDS. I throw the spent reactor solution outside and not down the kitchen drain because of our septic tank. After taking out the reactor, then put the CDS in the fridge until you need to use it. Or, you can wait until you get home from work to take out the reactor. Not much more activation will happen in the reactor beyond 12 hours, maybe less, depending on temperature.

Oh good thank you. I was worried the purpose of the two hours had to do with pressure so I couldn't open it until then.
