I am trying to get better understanding of MMS2. I get that in 2000 protocol, you are supposed to take the dry product in capsules and drink good amount of water before and after. I also learned that for skin application (bath, spray) you obviously resolve it in water. But what about internal use of the MMS2 solution - powder mixed in water and digested? So far I have not seen anything about that. Would not that be a safer way of taking it, since it is already activated into hypochlorous acid?

The protocol says to put the calcium hypochlorite in a capsule and ingest with lots of water. It does not say to mix the powder in water and then drink. If you would like to try that and report back to us, we would have an answer to your question!
I believe the gas from calcium hypochlorite when in water is chlorine gas. Don't think you want to inhale that.

I am not a chemist but I don't think the vapors of MMS2 are chlorine gas. The swimmers would be poisoned in the pool that way.

Routes of Exposure
Inhalation
Hypochlorite solutions can liberate toxic gases such as chlorine. Chlorine's odor or irritant properties generally provide adequate warning of hazardous concentrations.
Calcium hypochlorite decomposes in water to release chlorine and oxygen
Warning properties: Chlorine odor; inadequate warning of hazardous concentrations
Pool shock is usually added to a swimming pool when no one is swimming. Most pools are outside so any chlorine gas will quickly dissipate into air. That is not the case inside a house where we are using MMS2.

The info is as much as important as confusing, when I consider the sentence from Jim Humble's book "So there you go – calcium hypochlorite turns to 100% hypochlorous acid when dissolved in water". I don't try to dispute anyone, just wanting to get a better understanding. What I could find on the net were some comments about Calcium Hypochlorite turning into chlorine with a connection to UV light (daylight). Ok, that sounds logical to have the water activation of MMS2 happening only inside of the body but I am still rather confused. Am I the only one? Either way, I think that concludes my MMS2 experiments and I will stick with the protocols for now.
Thanks again.
