I must say that I am totally confused about all the changes. I took MMS the last time about two years ago as a cleanse. I was not sick.. I did it for six weeks:
Week 1 - 1 drop for 8 hours
Week 2 - 2 drops for 8 hours
Week 3 - 3 drops for 8 hours
Weeks 4 through 6 - 3 drops for 8 hours

I have not taken MMS since and now I got a cold. I decided to do Protocol 1000 for the past two days, the way I knew it.
On Day 1, I started with 1 drop each hour and built up to 3 drops by the end of the day
On Day 2, I took 3 drops each hour for 8 hours
I was going to continue this regimen until my cold got better. I expected this to take just a few days.

Now I read about a new starting procedure. It seems incredibly tedious and time consuming, mixing a fresh doses every hour and going on for weeks at a time. Even for a common cold?

Am I harming myself by having gone to the 3 drops and continuing to do so. I do not have nausea or diarrhea so far, although I do feel very tired. I'd be happy to reduce the dosage but the starting procedure is truly tedious. Could I just go with 1 or 2 drops per hour until the cold gets better.

I don't know if I should just stop the whole thing and read Jim's new book cover to cover and then decide whether or not I can handle this commitment in terms of effort and time. I can see doing so if I have a serious illness but not a just a bad cold.

Thank you for reading this. It may be too long to answer. If I could talk to someone, I would gladly pay.

You could probably do your Protocol 1000 by making the daily bottle to save time.

That being said, have you read Jim's latest 2015 MMS book?
You can get it at jhbooks.org

The Starting Procedure lasts for only 4 days. On day 5 you start Protocol 1000.

You do not have to follow the Starting Procedure if you don't want to.

How fortunate that you are not cursed with nausea, diarrhea or other unpleasant side effects when starting a protocol using MMS1, CDS or CDH. Many people do have problems when first starting to take CLO2 which is why the Starting Procedure was written.

From experience, the G2C has determined that you, the one trying to restore your health, has more success when making hourly doses of MMS1 than using a daily bottle. This problem does not occur if CDS is used and probably not for CDH either.

This hourly dosing Starting Procedure Chart might clarify/simplify the Protocol.

You may want to try unofficial Protocol 115 , which is basically taking CDS (or CDH, MMS1) every 15 minutes over a two hour period. Or, try Clara's 6 and 6 Protocol .

Let us know what works for you.

Thank you so much for answering so exhaustively. It was interesting (but too late) to hear that I did not have to do the starting procedure, but Jim was so adamant about this in his new book that I thought I had to, and I did not want to go through the trouble for this existing cold. So I scrapped the MMS for this time around and switched over to another homeopathic medication, which I am going to finish.

You clarified many things and made some valuable suggestions, which will stand me in good stead as I am re-starting my future explorations with MMS/CDS.

Sincerely,
Hannelore

Again, thank you very much for sending me all the information, in particular the Starting Procedure chart.

As a Cleansing, and to work up to a Maintenance dose, I am planning to do the Starting Procedure, then complete Protocol 1000, and then go on Maintenance.

My question is, are the different forms of MMS interchangeable? For example, can I do the Starting Procedure with the pills, and then do Protocol 1000 with MMS1 or CDS, perhaps even switching back and forth between the two. I might want to try making a batch of CDS, for example, but then return to using MMS1.

Also, I have a question about the Unofficial Protocol 115, which you sent me. Can it only be done with CDS or can I use MMS1. And could I switch back and forth between Protocol 115 and Protocol 1000? For example, could I do Protocol 115 with CDS for a couple of days, then do Protocol 1000 with either CDS or MMS1 for a while, etc.

And just to make sure, Protocol 115 requires only 8 doses over 2 hours for the whole day, right? I can stop after those two hours and not use MMS again until the next day.

Thank you.

All of the three sodium chlorite solutions (SCS) MMS1(liquid and tablets), CDS and CDH produce CLO2, the ingredient we think does all the magic. Depending on the application, one SCS may be better than another.

For instance, if one has little or no stomach acid (can't digest food very well) then MMS1 is not going to work very well for you. In that case, MMS1 tabs, which contain a built-in activator and will activate in just water, may work well. CDH may not be a good choice either because although it is much more activated than MMS1 (50% vs ~10% for MMS1 liquid) it still relies on stomach acid to activate its residual MMS. CDS is fully activated and should work fine for ingestion for this person. If CDS dosing gets too high, then throat irritation can become a problem. Using the mouth holding method will help.

If you use MMS1 tablets for the Starting Procedure, it would be best to cut them into four parts & put the pieces into small capsules, instead of mixing with water and ingesting, as they may burn on the way down. If you try that, let us know how it works. After completing the Starting Procedure using tabs in capsules should work well.

This chart will show the relationship between MMS1, CDS and CDH when ingested. Does not apply if not ingested. The doses are based on approximately equal amounts of CLO2 as shown in the right column. Again, the chart only applies if ingested into a stomach with normal amounts of gastric acid.

Note that CDS is 3000 PPM.

Yes, you could use unofficial P115 with MMS1 or CDH. There are two ways to use P115. One is as you say with doses every 15 minutes for two hours and you are done for the day. Or, do the 2 hour part and continue for another 6 hours with hourly doses.

Let us know how it goes for you.

Thanks.

Thanks. I am just trying to understand the Unofficial Protocol 115, and how effective it is, a bit better.

How is it possible that it can be done either by
(1) starting each day with the two hour protocol and be done with it for the day, OR by
(2) starting each day with the two hour protocol and then continuing with 6 additional hourly doses?

How can both ways be equally effective, given that the amount of MMS ingested is so much less in (1) than in (2).

Thank you.

Protocol 115 can be used two ways, as you said.

The first way is taking 8 doses in a consecutive 2 hour period, every 15 minutes.

The second way is also taking 8 doses in two hours plus another 6 hours at 1 dose each hour for a total of 14 doses for the day.

The first way is based on the idea of keeping the amount of CLO2 in your blood supply at or above a certain concentration as noted in a study .

The addition of hourly doses for another 6 hours is based on Jim Humble's idea of keeping CLO2 in the body as long as possible and from experience.

You can vary the amount of CLO2 per dose. Start low and work up, as usual. If dosing is the same for each method, then the first method (dosing every 15 minutes for 2 hours) will provide more CLO2 than hourly dosing for 6 hours.

If the first method solves your problem, then you don't need to add the additional 6 hour dosing. If your problem is not resolved, then use both methods.

CLO2, I have been on P115 for almost 2 weeks with great results thus far. I will post my results here when 3 weeks is complete. I would like to do a maintenance dose following P115. I started low w only 1ml/L and I am now at 5ml/L in my 2hour dosing jar. In Jim Humbles new Health Recovery manual, he suggests 6drops MMS1, 3x/week as a maintenance dose for adult under 60yrs. and 100-200lbs. What would be a comparable CDS 3000ppm dose and how to take that per week? I see the 13ml in chart here, but how might that be taken? Thanks for any input.
