I bought the 99.9% DMSO i want to use it as a spray can i use it at 99.9% or should i have to mix it with distilled water ? And what about the storage conservation of DMSO as a spray and in its original bottle?

I believe it needs to be reduced to 70% DMSO and 30% water. If you have a glass bottle for storage that would probably be better but I do have mine in its original container and so far it seems to be ok.

I read that the 99.9% pure DMSO is already the 70% because water is already added in I have a glass bottle container for storage but i read that DMSO can not be used with plastic gloves because it s carrier solvant so is that ok to use it in a plastic bottle spray ?

I think it is that the type of plastic is easier for the DMSO to dissolve. Plastic glove is thin and easily destroyed compared to plastic bottles. Such is my guess.

Apparently DMSO is diluted 70/30 by many manufacturers. You will have to ask your supplier if yours is pre-diluted. Note that the purity rating such as 99.9% is not the dilution factor; it is the purity percentage.

CLO2 can you help i doubt the supplier wil respond me quickly I bought mine at mineral solution i've just check and in fact its written ; DMSO Pharmaceutical 99.8% the c0mposition is H20 0,2% and dimethylsufoxide 99,8 % its not written 100% undiluted so i guess is already diluted its already a 70 % one no ?

You will have to ask your supplier or the manufacturer if it is diluted. Maybe the manufacturer has a website that will answer the question.

Most DMSO labels I have seen don't say if it is diluted. :(

Hi CLO2,
Can you please help me i sent an email about the dilution of my DMSO 99,8% here the message i had ;
The 99.8% DMSO is regarded as 100%, it does not come any better than that;
So can you explain me how much distilled water i have to add to make the 70% and the 50 ones DMSO solution please ? i have a sterile bottle water for injection you told me that i can't use it with mms but can i use it with DMSO spray ? Thank you

Mineral Solutions DMSO is exactly what it says on the label - 99.8% DMSO and 0.2% pure water. It is unclear why pharmaceutical grade is lower than industrial grade (often claimed as 99.9%) but it is pharmaceutical grade. Once opened it will start to accumulate water, as you will see if you put it in a refrigerator and not that not all of it solidifies at that temperature.

If you wan to dilute with water then you can, but it isn't pre-diluted. Most people can use it as is, but if you have sensitive skin, then due to it's attracting properties it can pull water out of the skin and cause a little drying, in which case you might want to dilute with water or Aloe Vera or similar.
