are you doing it very slow - the inhaling through nose part? I do it very very slow then wait a minute and exhale, breathe in regular air for few minutes then do it again. I just started the treatment 2 evenings ago and woke up this morning feeling much much better. The first time I did it, I inhaled too fast and it hurt my lungs so I waited until the next night (Wednesday) and did it the correct way. Today is Friday and my sinus are much much better and feel like I could do 2 flights of steps this morning.

I also did the breathing treatment but only did one. I could feel the MMS in my lungs which was scary. As COPD folks not being able to breathe when we get sick is one of the worst and most scariest feelings. With that being said the fear of over doing a breathing treatment is scary in it self. I do not think I did the breathing treatments long enough but will let you know after a few more as I will start them again today.

I am reducing my MMS dosage again. At 2 drops I am fine but one full day of 3 drops and I have the hexheimer reaction. Keep reminding myself I have been sick for a very long time. I know MMS will stop the emphysema.

Happy dosing!

Well I will try again but not until my breathing is back to what I call normal. Right now, it is still a struggle even after using my albuteral and symbicort. I hardly slept last night, not only because it was difficult breathing but I had very loud wheezing going on. I don't normally have that. I did not take large breaths. It was just a normal breath in through my nose and again once through my mouth. I didn't hold it in.

Read p 87 of Jim's latest book. "breathe in slowly once." "very gently and carefully at first" "Take a couple of weeks to get used to it". Etc. He doesn't say anything about holding your breath before breathing out.

For safety, to avoid choking on too much gas per breath, one can slow the gas production by adding water. One member reported that a quarter cup of water was about right for a 3 drop mix. Personally, I use about 2 tablespoons of water, but adjust the quantity to suit your own responses.
Coughing is the only way to get the mucus out of one's lungs. Wheezing is an indication of loosened mucus that's still too thick to cough up. I find that it helps to breath in high humidity air - as in a hot shower- to help loosen/dilute the mucus to help in coughing it up.
Consider it a long term project with lots of coughing. Your lungs won't be cleared overnight.

Thank you everyone for your support. This morning is better and I may try it again today. This time I am going to be very careful. I think I will take just one breath through my nose and forget the breath through my mouth until I see if it sends my lungs into chaos again. (Which takes about 6 hours) That is unbearable. I still seem to have more phlegm than is normal so maybe the overdose is still working. DO NOT want to overdose again. Don't mind coughing up stuff, just mind not being able to take a good breath.

I want this to work so badly.

I am doing okey now with 3 drops. Some nights I am sluggish and have a sick feeling but understand that is the MMS working. Still using Symbicort and Spiriva (inhalers) daily and realize it might be a very long time before I can throw them away.

Also doing the breathing treatments twice daily. Coughed quite a bit the last couple of days and getting junk up. I am sure there is lots more. I think I will start sleeping with MMS in my room by activating 2 drops then working up from there. Should I stop the breathing treatments while doing the night one?

Still on 3 drops with no problems. Still lightly inhaling 2 times daily only and sleeping with MMS in my room. Noticed increase in spirometer volume, not huge but encouraging.

Also Ordered CDS but not sure of amount to take. Thought it was 8 drops CDS equals 1 drop MMS1 but read yesterday about the ratio is 12 drops CDS to 1 drop MMS1. Which is correct?

Also read about taking MMS1 in capusles? Can't find posts confirming this.
