hi, and thanks again for this info, I ordered some HCL- 4% last week - waiting on it, I am using CDS - does not upset stomach and bowels at all, and am using my MMS/CITRIC, for spray application and foot bath/DMSO.

Is a table spoon of DMSO too much to use in foot bath, or could I use a 1/4 of cup as in bath protocol?

thankyou, Jackrabbit.

Hi, - honey eh! thanks for the site reference - but I wonder if I could add my own honey - only coz I have a brand new bottle of DMSO, - did not realize it as a moisturizer- being a deep transporter, wouldn't it tend to send sugars to bone level, - just a thought - perhaps you could let me know on this one.

thanks.

Hi jackrabbit - I think you could add your own honey. I read somewhere on a google search that either honey or magnesium oil can be added to reduce irritation if you have it. I don't think you would need to add very much.

I don't know if DMSO is really a moisturizer or not but I noticed how it softened my skin in other parts of the body so I thought I would try it on my face. I think it's working just as well as any face lotion I've ever used.

Here's what DMSO.bz says about why they add honey --

We Add Honey, and Claim It Is The Best?

When DMSO is applied topically, it is usually accompanied by a number of minor, side effects. Because DMSO is excellent at penetrating human skin and tissue, if you put it on your skin, you will usually taste a garlicky like taste in a few moments. Because of this characteristic, and the fact that DMSO breaks down in the human body, ones breath may smell a little like garlic, as may your body odor. The third, POSSIBLE, side effect is a tingling, or slight burning sensation, very similar to mild sunburn, on the areas of application, especially if DMSO is put on a tender area, such as the neck or face. Now, please understand, if you are in major pain, and have suffered physical injury, these are little prices to pay to secure the amazing relief that DMSO can, and usually will bring you, in a fairly short period of time at that. Nevertheless, there is a better way, and we have discovered it, after years of use and experimentation.

We selected honey as the ideal agent for two reasons. 1. Because honey lessens, and usually eliminates most of the unpleasant side effects of using DMSO. When you use our "DMSO.BZ" solution, you usually do not experience the bad breath, taste or body odor, and the burning sensation is either entirely eliminated, or greatly reduced (sometimes, on the face or neck, for example, a fairly mild burning sensation is still noticed) [see application information for more hints to eliminate this]. #2. Honey is the ideal adjunct because it is so symbiotic with DMSO. Honey, like DMSO, is a naturally occurring product, with its own curative abilities, in its own right. Honey also helps moisturize and soothe the skin. The literature indicates that honey is also antibacterial, and antifungal - have you ever seen honey with mold? No! Honey does not appear to spoil, even if not refrigerated, it does not get moldy; all it does is crystallize, which can be reversed by heating. Honey does not need to be refrigerated to stay fresh. Remember bees store honey outdoors, in their hives.

Here's another tip - I tried MMS spray as an underarm deodorant. It works much, much better than any deodorant I've ever tried. Now the only things I put on my skin are MMS and DMSO plus a little natural soap for shaving cream. I never smelled better or felt cleaner.

hi, and thanks for all the additional info on DMSO and the honey - learning all the time! - gr8

I am using MMS/DMSO in my foot bath, as my bath tub has a lot of scratches in it, and do not want to risk transporting any "nasties" into my system, I can't seem to find how much DMSO to use this way, is it ok to add 1/4 cup?, maybe this would only be on unnecessary waste of DMSO, I had a foot bath yesterday, 30 activated MMS, and 5ml DMSO, is this enough DMSO or could I, - or should I use more?
thanks, - jackrabbit

PS - thanks for the deodorant tip!

I would guess the question is what are you trying to accomplish - the only thought I have is that DMSO does inactivate MMS over time - so large doses of it might (I'm saying might here, because I don't think anyone has tested it) be counterproductive if the goal is getting MMS into the tissues. DMSO does have healing properties on its own (you might read Morton Walker's book, "DMSO Nature's Healer" - and possibly you are more interested in tapping into those - (which is fine, BTW - not making a judgment here) - in which case the larger amount in the foot bath may be OK. I'm just thinking here, as I said, nothing has been tested or proven, either way. Usually, for a footbath, Jim recommends 20 drops MMS activated - but 30 is OK - full baths can go 20-40 drops. Usually MMS and DMSO is balanced. However, Jim has not spoken of DMSO in baths in his book. Maybe he will address it in the second edition of his new book, which he's currently working on. I know it's been used by numerous people. 5ml of DMSO should be fine, also. I personally think that 1/4 of a cup would be a waste, unless you're going strictly for the DMSO treatment - and then I would read Dr. Walker's book.

Again - just my thoughts.
