I would try it each time you apply MMS or CDS or whatever you are using. If it starts to appear irritated or the dog is getting irritated from it then back off the DMSO. Some animals do not tolerate it well.

The area is in the armpit and was red before I applied it. I only did it once yesterday and she wanted to lick it. Maybe I'll do it again later and give her a bone to chomp on to keep her mind off it.
