Good Morning!
I would do as Truthquester suggested. Put 25 - 30 drops unactivated MMS in their 1 gal. water. I would not put DMSO in there as I believe, somewhere, I read that the DMSO reacts quickly, or something, and will not last like the unactivated MMS. But I am sure it would not hurt them the amount you gave.
Speaking of my own experience I would not rely on unactivated MMS alone. I tried it with my dog Lady and her tumor came back. But, who knows, maybe it would have even if I kept up what I was doing.

I would suggest you get activated MMS into the sick one. ALWAYS, start low! 1 activated drop every couple hours. If no bad reaction such as lethargy, vomiting or diarrhea then up it to 2 activated drops per 2 hours, and so on. Your friend is small so there will probably not be needed many drops per hour. See how the dog reacts. He/she should not be getting sicker from it. If he/she does then you need to drop back one drop after recovery. Some people have had some real good success putting the activated MMS into beef broth. You might want to experiment around with this idea and see what is best in your situation. If all else fails you may need to do some tough love and use a feeding syringe into her mouth.
Hope this helps!
All the best to you!
Denise

My dog has lost even more weight - he is now only 14 1/2 lbs. shouldn't I be giving him just 1/2 a drop to start?? He is on 3 antibiotics now - had my 3rd trip to the vet today since 12-23. They don't know where his high temp is coming from. Will it hurt him while he is on antibiotics?? Do I just need to wait for a couple hours after his antibiotics to dose him or does it matter?

Yes thank you also Pam for letting Horsefeathers know about my post. I appreciate all of you guys.

one more ? please. If I give him 1/2 drop activated MMS - do I also put DMSO too? Am I correct ? ?? to make 1/2 drop - would I put 1 drop into a glass - activate it, add DMSO and then add 2 oz of water and give it all to him, with a syringe if he won't drink it, which I don't think he will.. Is that how to do 1/2 drop?? OR do I put the 1 drop into 4 oz's of water but then only give him 2 oz?? I want to be sure and do it right and I'm a bit confused by it.
Thanks in advance for your response.
Glenda

I would suggest not doing the DMSO. DMSO takes a little bit of time, but ultimately it will "kill" the MMS - so leaving it in a water dish just inactivates the MMS. You can make a dose any size. If it's 1 drop, activated, in - say - an ounce of water, then just add half of the mixture to his water dish. Or, if you're making it for a syringe, again, make 1 drop, add the water, and then throw away half of it.

then I don't have to use 4 oz or 2 oz - just however much water I use to make 1 drop - toss out half of it. Makes sense. Thank you so much.

Thanks again

Don't do DMSO would be my best guess. If there is no improvement in a day or so then I might try the DMSO. Others with more experience may weigh in on this hopefully!

The reason to NOT do DMSO in the water bowl is because it will "kill" the MMS. It inactivates MMS over time. If you're going to use DMSO, it needs to be in the individual dose. This is why I suggest NOT doing DMSO in the water bowl.

I have put just plain MMS in their 1 gal water container. Haven't started giving him the syringe yet, will do so soon.
Thank you all so much -
