I was just about to suggest Fasting gets put on the board since it's the easiest of all the things to try - nothing to buy, nothing to do, just do nothing :-)

I did a 3 day fast last year after having flu for 3 weeks and by day 3 (of a dry fast - ie. no food or water) I felt amazing - so good in fact that I continued for a further 8 days doing a 23 hour a day fast - giving myself a 1 hour window (6am to 7am) to eat and drink whatever I wanted.

During the fast all my craving for sweets and chocolates went away.

I think the flu is a FORCED fasting from the body. When I get the flu, the last some years ago, I not eat anything in at last 3, 4 or 5 days :)

I clean my colon when I start and during fasting with

only by the mouth!!! :D

I did a 6 day fast recently. Don't expect miracles. I felt a little better, but nothing special.
