Question HDPE bottle

HDPE bottle was created by sergey5oct
Hello to everyone!

It seems that one cannot buy a new HDPE bottle, at least in my area. Other plastics? No problem: PETE (1), PP (5), LDPE (4), OTHER (7). But no HDPE (2).

At the same time I can easily find HDPE in milk store.

Wondering would that be appropriate to use such milk bottle from the grocery for the Protocol 1000?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Sergey.

If you are referring to storing MMS (NaCLO2 solution) and 4% HCL in containers, I would suggest to only use glass, especially for MMS. MMS will degrade HDPE causing the container to crack and leak out the contents.

2 ml of 3000 ppm original CDS equals a 1 drop MMS1 dose in a normal stomach

Hi CLO2,

Yeah, I did see the corresponding post about that, thanks. But I am talking about storing the prepared mixture for a whole day (8 doses, Protocol 1000).

Hm... thanks!
Does it matter what material the cap is made of? Or it does not as there is no contact basically with the liquid?

I have used the glass baby bottle plus that cap to hold CDS, CDH, MMS1 and unactivated MMS for years and have not noticed any degradation of the cap, except a slight yellowing of the cap where it is exposed to any gases (CLO2) that can reach it from the contents. The product description does not say what material is used to make it, unfortunately.

Another bottle + cap you could consider using is GTS brand kombucha in a 16 fl oz glass bottle. The cap appears to use a teflon disc seal. Many grocery stores carry that brand. You will have to mark the bottle into 8 equal segments or other calibrations for your use. It would not have to be completely filled. I am using one of these at the moment to hold eight doses of unactivated MMS for daily use. Each dose from my bottle totals about 60 ml (2 fl oz) so I don't have to add any additional water to the dose.
