question diluting 99.9 % dsmo was created by Wally
i plan on diluting 99% dsmo with equall parts distilled water to get 50% however
i went to the pharmacy and got a graduated eye dropper to use in mixing up a small batch but then i noticed the eye dropper is plastic of some sort

can i still use it with the dmso? the dmso comes in a platic bottle....hmmmm

any ideas...

DMSO is stored and shipped in HDPE plastic - should be fine - however, you don't want the dropper with the rubber squeeze bulbs - it will melt those over time.

ok.. so even the fumes of the dmso will melt the rubber ball, even if the liquid never comes into contact with it? What do you suggest to produce droplets? Will that rubber end up in the drops? thx.

I was wondering what happens when diluting down the DMSO?
I noticed when i mix down the DMSO with water (sterile) to 70 percent there comes a reaction.
The solution immediately starts to get warm and after a while it cools down again.
But after this i am afraid the solution looses its reaction? Can i other wise just use the 99.9 percent solution for my daily drinking dosages?

At the moment i just mix pure DMSO with the MMS1...

Jim says 70%, if you want to use 99%, I'd just use fewer drops - don't ask me to give you a chart - haven't one here. You'll need to wing it. BTW, if you're using DMSO on the body, Dr. Morton Walker recommends 70% above the waist and 50% neck up -

I just tried to dilute 99.9995% DMSO with distilled water. 50/50 and it started to smoke and get really hot!

Is this normal!?

i was unable to reproduce this. I used a new amber spray bottle.. wonder if there was something in there that caused it?

Yes, it will get warm when you add water.
