Virus in cats and using MMS during antibiotics.

We are dealing with a cat that has such a bad mix of pathogens that all her teeth have been surgically removed and now her saliva gland is swollen. She is on antibiotics and anti-inflammation.
My daughter is nervous about MMS use, and we need to know if we can start her cat on MMS while she is still on these drugs. I understand a very low dosage is recommended. A low does many times a day?
I was amazed when my own cat actually elected to climb into the bathtub to drink the MMS bath i was soaking in after being exposed to this same virus. I noted he was listless when we came home, but I thought he was lonely. After he drink MMS several nights in a row, he was much better!

pam Offline Platinum Boarder Posts: 4593 Thank you received: 3702	You can use both together - Deb, although I tend to syringe doses into my cats when necessary, another way to dose would be to put some MMS in the water dish - Water itself will activate the MMS, but if you think your cat will be drinking not too long after you've added it, I'd activate it first.

Wanted to report that the cat did take MMS.
The very first day, my daughter called me to tell me that the cat was slobbering all over the place. I told her it was a detox, and it was only for a few hours. then the cat started to improve. I feel that the saliva i gland was releasing infection. The vet said that a 2nd surgery for that gland was necessary, but the MMS helped to heal the gland and the cat is far better now, but without teeth.
You may think that she would choose to give the 2nd cat MMS after a similiar surgery, but that is not happening.
