Hi there,

I am insulin dependant (Type 1) diabetic and have been on insulin for nearly 21 years now (I am nearly 50). I understand that there may be several causes to the disease which may explain why the MMS cure only works 50% of the time.

I too have heard that the problem is caused by an inflamed pancreas (actually I heard inflamed nerves in the pancreas) but also that it is an auto-immune disease where your immune systems gets confused and attacks your own insulin producing Islets of Langerhans cells. This theory may be supported by the fact that nowadays they check you actually are Type 1 diabetic by doing a GAD anti-body test (this was invented as originally a lot of people were put on insulin unnecessarily - so the existence of this anti-body supposedly confirms the auto-immune issue).

When I was originally diagnosed back in 1991 they thought diabetes came from either stress (I had a period of extreme stress 18 months before diagnosis), a virus (I had a bad virus in Bangkok 11 months before) or after an extended overseas trip (I had just returned from a 8 month round the world tour when I was diagnosed). Three for three in my case!

I have just completed 3 weeks of Protocol 1000+ and there has been no change to my diabetes and no change to my insulin requirements. This included no change when I have injected which I did at the same time as I took MMS1.

I have 2 other auto-immune diseases (Uvitis in my left eye and CIDP - Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy) so I was hoping that there was an underlying viral cause to these that MMS would sort out.

Not to be beaten and having been advised to do Protocol 2000 I have ordered ready made MMS2 from www.mineral-solutions.net/ and will take a 4 day break while I travel then try Protocol 2000 for a couple of weeks.

I do understand that I may have the "auto-immune" type of diabetes so none of this may work but will give it (and MMS2) some more time and see what happens. I am no doctor but I guess if my issues were originally viral which programmed my immune system incorrectly, MMS's may well kill the virus(es) but the immune system would still be triggered by my own similar valid tissues like the Islets of Langerhans and the myelin sheaves (in the case of CIDP).

I will update this post if I have any progress. Paul

Hi Paul,

Thank you for the detailed report!

I remember reading somewhere that Jim said some diabetes cases took a full year on sacrament/protocol 1000 before they reached a cure. You have got multiple illnesses that have been with you for a long time, so it could take a long course of treatment to get to cure.

Protocol 2000 is a good idea to see if there is a better response to the MMS2. It is possible that adding DMSO to the doses following protocol 1000+ could be helpful as well.

I have been following an extended course of treatment myself moving between protocol 1000 & 2000, using bag treatments, MMS enemas, CDS and a no sugar/carbohydrate anti-candida diet for over 6 mos. now. My improvement has been substantial over the course of time but it is very gradual and if I looked at any 3 week period I might not recognize there was improvement. But overall I am at least 50% improved in my symptoms from where I started. You may have a long, gradual improvement also considering your history.

Please do let us know how it goes,

Michael

Anyone with diabetes might be interested in www.rawfor30days.com/cmd.php?af=1451623. It's about a controlled study of diabetics that eat virtually nothing but raw food for 30 days and all of them reverse their condition within 30 days.

If it were me, I'd stick with MMS regardless of how long it takes, Jim does say the time taken to see results does vary.

It is interesting when we talk about the reasons that diabetes (or any other Dis-ease) affects us. Auto-immune (a question - what causes auto-immune?), microbial and so on.

One that I read about a few years ago, was the mal-nutritional cause for Diabetes. This was basically that the factor that transported the 'sugar' from the blood to the mitachondria in the cell was missing.

That factor is a lipid (a fat). Due to the introduction of factory farming and the marketing of vegetable (canola) oils, the old oils (flax, sesame, etc) that used to be abundently available on the supermarket shelves and used in all cooking/food preparation are now not available as much, and as such (and price) they are not consumed in adequate quantities. As with all building blocks of the body, if they are not replaced after use, they are not available to do the jobs they are there for, and we show signs and symptoms of dis-ease.

You may want to increase your intake of these old oils and not/stop use/ing canola if you do. (Plus other things - there ain't no silver bullet)

I hope this adds another aspect to the problem. All dis-ease is cured by nutrition, attitude, and allowing the healing clock to be reset.

Kevin is correct about raw foods - they contain the enzymes that enable the pancreas to reset and heal. They also supply the correct nutrition for human repair. Win - Win

MMS will give you the edge and allow the body as a whole to reset and stop the 'fight cycle'.

Cheers Don

here is the link where the discussion on diabetes.
I know many people who have diabetes and are treated with MMS.
Unfortunately did not help, neither one is sugar is reduced.
MMS is good for many things, for diabetes looks not.

Merklova, how long did they do the MMS and how consistent did they take it? What procedure did they actually use for taking MMS.

MMS only works 50% of the time, according to Jim Humble, and diabetes will take 6 months or more of protocol 1000.
